Teachers at BES :Making a difference

Beaverlodge Elementary School is a fantastic school.

The breakfast program, ESL and Early Literacy programs, Safe and Caring schools, Active living, grade 6 leadership program are just some of the positive influences that are currently operating in this school.

Teachers here are always giving their best so that students have quality and educational experiences. We see education as the responsibility of the whole staff; as students build on their knowledge from one year to the next. This type of attitude has created the continuity and building blocks that students need.

The teachers at this school are also supportive of each other. Personally, I know that I can go to a teacher for help, advice or words of wisdom. I am grateful to be part of this staff because of the comfort level that I have experienced with my colleagues.

I support public education because the potential to influence each other is exciting. Adults and children work together and learn from each other. In addition, students have the benefit of learning from individuals who are passionate about what they teach. Personally, I think careers in public education are so influential and important that they cannot be compared with any others.
